While most jamming systems operating in the world’s crisis zones are still analogue systems, unival group is taking digital jamming to the next level: This allows our high-profile clients for the first time to individually program their digital jamming system based on local intelligence and environmental conditions. The DDS/ FPGA control board can be programmed via notebook based on an available database or through newly created jamming files that are installed on the spot.

Additionally, a frequency windows can be programmed for internal communication. With more than 1.200 Watt output power and intelligent, digital and fully programmable jammer units, the XWJ2 CONVOY JAMMER is able to counter any possible threat frequency.

The jamming radius/ range is defined through field-strength and type of the threat signals, output power of the jammer, environmental conditions (f.e. open field or city environment), antenna type (directional or omnidirectional) and the distance between the transmitter (Tx) and the receiver (Rx).

So providing general jamming ranges is not considering all relevant factors which are affecting the performance in real jamming operations. Whenever we provide and install jamming systems, we optimize the system according to local intelligence/ database and conditions.

Due to the high electro-magnetic radiation from the jamming system an EMF/EMR shielding has to be installed in order to protect the passengers and apply health regulations. unival takes special care of the health of the driver and passengers. To ensure their health, a protective EMF/EMR shielding layer is installed inside the car. Additional EMF/EMR protection suits are available on request, if the operators have to leave the car frequently while the unival XWJ2 CONVOY JAMMER jammer is still active and running.
