unival provides a wide range of counter UAS jammers (XWJ2-cUAS) designed to disrupt the remote control of an UAV and/ or its global positioning system (GPS) signal.
Most high-end, commercial 1 km – 5 km UAV drones use smart technologies on 2.4/ 5.8 GHz Wifi plus GPS signals. Other drones may also use 433 MHz, 928 MHz. LTE/ 5G controlled drones are currently tested and almost ready to be deployed. Because the jammer will usually cause the drone to return to its point of origin, other counter measures should be considered, such as radar detection/ classification, RF detection and optical recognition. All additional technologies should be combined into one software interface.
XWJ2-cUAS Jammers can be equipped with sector antennas, horn antennas and omnidirectional antennas. Output power in the different frequency bands can be selected according to customer requirements. Depending on country specific telecommunication regulations, some programming features (f.e. GPS jamming or partial satellite communication links) can be excluded from programming.
