Purpose, Application, and Risk Environment

Purpose: Under Vehicle Monitoring Systems are deployed wherever vehicles pose a potential security risk and where manual inspection of the undercarriage is ineffective, unsafe, or operationally impractical.

Application Environments: This capability is critical in environments such as border crossings, high security facilities, government compounds, military bases, transportation hubs, and event security points, where vehicles of all types may conceal explosives, weapons, contraband, hidden compartments, or signs of structural tampering.

Operational Risk Context: UVMS provides operators with a non intrusive, real time view of the vehicle underbody while the vehicle remains in motion. This enables faster and more consistent threat detection without disrupting traffic flow. The system reduces reliance on manual checks, supports continuous operation in outdoor conditions, and creates a recordable and auditable inspection trail for later review and verification.
