The Thruvision TAC | TERAHERTZ PEOPLE-SCREENING CAMERA is a proven and high-performance people-screening camera that sees any type of item – including metal, plastic, ceramic, gel, liquid, powder and paper – hidden in peoples’ clothing at distances of 3 m to 10 m.

Designed to screen moving people, the TAC is completely passive, safe and non-intrusive, and uses Thruvision’s patented terahertz technology. Furthermore, the TAC has been tested and approved by the US T.S.A. for public screening and passed all operational tests.

STAND-OFF THREAT & CONTRABAND DETECTION

The TAC detects hidden threats and contrabands under people’s clothing, such as weapons, explosives, money rolls, drugs and many more, distance of up to 10 m.
 

SMALL ITEM DETECTION

Minimum object size of 5 cm x 5 cm at 5 m on stationary person and 35 cm x 25 cm at 8 m on walking persons.
 

HEALTH SAFE TRHOUGH PASSIVE TERAHERTZ TECHNOLOGY

The TAC uses Terahertz detection technology, which makes the system completely passive, as no signal is emitted. Therefore, it does not harm pregnant women or persons with pacemakers in any way.
 

NO BODY EXTREMITIES ARE SHOWN

The TAC does not display or show any body details – therefore, the privacy of screened people is 100% guaranteed.
 

T.S.A. TESTED & APPROVED

The TAC was thoroughly tested and officially approved by the U.S. Transportation Security Administration (TSA) for public screening, as it has passed all operational testing.
 

REAL-TIME SCREENING

The TAC screens people in real-time, while they are moving. No security lanes or security checkpoint bottlenecks are any longer required.
 

OPTIMIZED FOR TOUCH SCREEN OPERATION

The Thruviewer software is optimized for touchscreen operation, for a seamless screening operation.
 

DUAL-VIEW VIDEO DISPLAY

The TAC displays at the same time the terahertz body signature, as well as the normal video stream. Variable screening camera preset fields of view can be selected.
 

FLEXIBLE OPERATION

The TAC can be deployed as a fixed installation, a mobile version or wall mounted. Due to its small system size, maximum flexibility is guaranteed.
