The unival MBX is a highly versatile mobile inspection system that utilizes advanced X-ray backscatter technology to detect narcotics, explosives, currency, and other organic contraband. Unlike transmission X-ray systems that require a detector on the opposite side of the source, backscatter technology captures X-rays that "bounce back" from the object. This allows the MBX to scan objects of any size, including passenger vehicles, trucks, pallets, ULD containers, and even airplanes, without the need for a restrictive scanning tunnel.
